Finding a good chrome extension is like a small little victory for the day, because you know it’s going to increase your productivity and allow you to work smarter and not harder over the long run.  The only requirements I have for an extension is – something that can improve my day-to-day work flow, and will not slow down my browser speed too much.   With that said, I would like to share 3 free Chrome extensions that I find invaluable.

1. Chromed Bird – This extension allows you to tweet from any web page you are browsing.  It’s faster than switching tabs, or opening your Twitter client, when you are browsing and you need to tweet ASAP.
2. Screen Capture – I would pay good money for this extension, it’s the easiest, and most powerful screen grabbing tool I have ever used, a close second is the MS OneNote screen grabber.
3. Alexa Traffic Rank – When I need to do some quick research on a web page, I start here.  Global ranks, reviews, sites linking in, wayback machine, all just one-click from the page you are browsing.

Download any of these extensions and watch your productivity sky rocket.
